This driver allows you to connect\u00a0Saia PCD\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>systems to SCADA using the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Saia PCD\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is configured as Remote Unit (RTU) while the SCADA is supposed to be the Monitor system. Balanced as well as unbalanced communication modes are supported. The common mechanisms like Clock Synchronization, General Interrogation, Counter Interrogation are supported.<\/p>\n

The driver kernel is designed as an FBox for Fupla. The data points in the\u00a0<\/span>Saia PCD\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>can be configured in an MS-Excel file and directly compiled into\u00a0Saia PCD\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>code by the\u00a0<\/span>NG-Configurator<\/a>. An FB call is also provided for access to the driver in IL code.<\/p>\n

The license mechanism is based on runtime keys depending on the\u00a0<\/span>Saia PCD\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>hardware. The price for the FBox library and the Add-On tools is included in the Basic Driver License. On request a personal Internet\u00a0account\u00a0can be opened as to allow you to generate your key yourself at any time.<\/p>\n

For large application, please ask for the Large Account license model.<\/p>\n

Because this protocol needs some particular knowledge to be correctly set up, we strongly recommend you to order also a training (including the use of test and trace tools) and test with your SCADA.<\/p>\n
